Reverse Osmosis Systems Services in Santa Fe, NM by Roadrunner Air Conditioning, Heating & Plumbing

How Does a Reverse Osmosis System Work?
Reverse osmosis systems are complicated, but the basics are actually fairly simple. Water containing dust, minerals and similar contaminants is contained in one half of a tank with pure water in the other half. The two halves are separated by a semi–permeable membrane, and normally the pure water would move through the membrane to balance out the contaminated water. With reverse osmosis, pressure is applied to the contaminated side to push the contaminated water through to the other side. The particles are left, and the pure water can then be moved into your plumbing and your pipes.
As a result, your drinking water will taste like you bought it from a store, as will any food you cook with water from your sink. If you add up the cost of buying filtered water in bottles, a reserve osmosis system can save you quite a bit of money. But it goes beyond that. Purified water makes your baths and showers feel better and goes easy on your laundry loads, helping to keep your colors bright and preventing your clothes from deteriorating over time.

John Hopkins ★★★★★ in the last week
I recently had Santa Fe’s Roadrunner Air install Mitsubishi floor type air conditioners in the sunroom of my home in Los Alamos, NM. The team from Roadrunner was lead by Justin and included Horacio, Ruben and others. They were outstanding. … More They were skilled, very capable, and polite when asked, what were probably, elementary questions.
Our project was skillfully planned and followed throughout the installation by Steve Booth (a PhD, of course, in Los Alamos). He is retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory and is excellent at analyzing the requirements and matching them to the available Mitsubishi air conditioners. Clearly Roadrunner and their customers are very lucky to have such technical expertise.
I recommend Roadrunner and Steve Booth without reservation.

After site visits and proposals from many local heating and plumbing companies I was fortunate to choose Roadrunner for a switch from a gas tank to a new electric tank hot water heater. They are a stellar company with great staff and fair … More prices. Their bid was the most correct in what needed to be done as compared to what I received from other companies. The scheduler, the owner, and the installers know what they are doing and care about customer service. The two installers arrived timely in the morning, worked expertly and efficiently, solved unanticipated problems, and completed installation by lunchtime. I recommend Roadrunner! -

Highly recommend Roadrunner.
I would first like to thank Horacio and Alcides, as well as Derek.
We had a ductless Mitsubishi mini split (heat pump) installed by Roadrunner.
We got quotes from a few companies. Roadrunner was clear choice … More just from time spent providing quote. and answering our questions.
Amazing company! Estimate visit and paperwork were thorough, they answered questions and checked in with us before install, no stress during installation, very neat, cleaned up after (including wiping down unit).
Highly recommend Roadrunner.
